We have plans to renovate the Cotton Bowl again. So it the Astrodump still sitting there?

Tell you what, I'll take you there myself so I can photograph the look of disappointment on your face when you see it's not much different. Except maybe for the beach, that's pretty cool if you've never lived by it. But Galveston is more of a weekend trip than a vacation.

Y U so worried about the astrodome? we will fix it if we need it. In the meantime Reliant is still new, Toyota is still new, Minute Maid is still new, BBVA Compass is not even finished yet.

And why anyone would plan even a weekend trip to Galveston escapes me.

Galveston is good for taking pictures, some good seafood, just looking at the ocean and enjoying that atmosphere, and booty beach parties. A relaxing or fun day at the beach? Not quite.

There is one major difference...When you first get to Houston you "kinda frown up at all the uglyiness around you" but once you get past that its a cool town. Back in the day I had to do a double take when I first saw Texas Southern campus...oh wee thats all I am gone say .
