Don't you understand that was the point of my post? I can state anything I want or can say I heard other people say whatever fits my agenda and there is no way for you to prove me wrong unless you present facts.

You know, like the other day when you stated Houston didn't have the wealth, spending power, or cool factor for chain stores to chose Houston over Dallas when entering the Texas market. I argued the income disparity that was largely in Houston's favor and how Dallas is strategically placed to reach all of the Texas cities and beyond. Moderator cut: see note

Suffice to say that anything you say from now on holds absolutely no wieght with me.

So you never present facts when arguing your point?

Sometimes, I argue my opinion. Sometimes, I use facts. No different from most people. Ill gladly concede my opinions are subjective and I even say that in many of my posts. Opinions are not right or wrong.

Ive read your posts on Dallas. I dont think you know the city very well. Not saying you havent been here, but its obvious you havent really gotten around here. I visit Houston every two weeks for work and my father lives there so I have a good idea of the city. Guess what? I love Houston. I love DFW more, but I love Houston. If I had to leave here and couldnt go back to LA full time, I would live in Houston in a heart beat.

What I dont like homerism and one sidedness. Im not accusing you specifically of that, but the point still stand.

Some Austin landmarks are. Caddo Lake is another (although, it's more of a hidden gem amongst global destinations).

Mikey got this one right despite his reputation as major of houston promotion campaign. No comparison really.... when you look beyond the surface numbers of jobs created to measure how well they pay which is where energy jobs in Houston will hammer most cities in this difficult financial mess. I am speaking about economies, on the schools question both have great schools as well as poor ones its not meaningful which has more good schools meaning public ed K-12.
