When does Texas State move up to division I-A ?

Thanks !

It could be close until the 4th quarter, which ever team is more conditioned, and then it becomes which coach can outcoach one another.
In the past we stuck with a&m only lost 45-38 in aggieland when hurricane rita was coming, and they always gave Baylor hell.

I'm thinking SMU wins by 3 TDs, but I haven't seen the Bobcats play in a couple of years.

Actually they lost 44 - 34 to A&M, I was at that game in 2005. It was surreal with the hurricane coming and alot of us parked on campus in the parking garages because they said the hurricane would hit B/CS

I thought Jerry Jones was a razorback - Jerry Jones - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

However, he clearly prefers Aggies or Sooners over Longhorns... he avoids Longhorn players like the plague.

Jerry is a Razorback - they were part of the SWC and of course we certainly didn't like them - before JJ bought the Cowboys they were owned by Bum Bright (the Aggie) who bought them from Clint Murchison.

Teams SMU loved to hate during the SWC: Baylor, A&M (cheerleader-Aggie CT sabre-wielding incident - it's on this funny page scroll half-way down Our Favorite Texas A&M Photos ) and Texas -- Rice was entertaining (MOB) and TCU we didn't really hate but we really wanted to win. Tech was so far away most people didn't go to the game if it was in Lubbock. But the other trips were fun.

Lakewooder - I guess that's the best way for me to describe how I feel about TCU as well. I don't hate them and I actually hope they do well...but at the same time, I want bragging rights over the Purple People.

How did you guys feel about Houston back when you were on the Hilltop? For whatever reason, I hate them...to the point that (I think) Longhorns hate OU...that is, respect them as an institution, but hope they lose all their sporting events.

txstate - Was the team that played A&M close the same one that went pretty far deep into the playoffs? Wasn't that back when Bailiff (now at Rice) was the coach? Who is your coach now?

I remeber that game....it was crazy. It was actually also my Ring Day and my family lives in Beaumont which was getting hit by the storm, so I didn't get to enjoy it.

Thanks for the lesson; I didn't know that about Bum Bright. My Cowboys knowledge is obviously weak. Honestly, I'd probably be a Cowboys fan if they ever picked a promising longhorn, or even if they moved their training camp back to Austin.

Can't be a Texan fan, unfortunately, because of the Vince Young snub... however, Reliant stadium is an excellent venue, and because of the league affiliation a great place to watch VY and the Titans in his hometown. However, the venue advantage is gone once the new Cowboys stadium opens up (looks absolutely incredible)...
