Any of the Texas Monthly Field Guide Series are good.

Texas Monthly Field Guide to Spiders and Scorpions of Texas, by John A. Jackman

A Field Guide to Texas Critters, Bill Zak

A Field Guide to Common Texas Insects, Bastiaan M. Drees/John A. Jackman

I don't happen to have the book in my library but one book that I know of that addresses a few of the Texas arachnids is: A Field Guide to Spiders & Scorpions of Texas by John A. Jackman, published by the Gulf Publishing Company, Houston in 2002. I note that Overstock.com has a copy $13.50.

Good luck and don't get bitten or stung.
