Default Good School

I am seeking a good high school for my daughter! We live in a small town (approx 20,000) and the school here is terrible! They wont let the kids go
to the bathroom, if they speak they have detention, etc..It's more like a prison than a school. Help us get out of this town and move somewhere
else. A school that will help my daughter achieve not tear her down.
what ever you do.. DON"T move to Sweetwater!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Good School

If you are looking for a good school, give Dawson ISD in Welch Texas a try. It is between Lamesa and Brownfield. It has Pre-K thru 12 grades divided into two campuses. There is an average ratio of 10 kids to each teacher. Their academic scores are great. This school has a ZERO drop out rate and they have no drug/alcohol issues. They get quite a bit of transfer students from Lamesa as well as Brownfield sue to other schools teaching at a two-year differential grade levels!!! These guys really know what they are doing. I moved to Welch because of the school system. I work out of town and have to commute two hours every day, but it is well worth it knowing that my kids are getting a great education!!!

Smile reg: good school

Thank you so much ddjazz! I appreciate the information regarding Welch, TX. If you can explain to me about the area, weather, and commuting to work. The school sounds like what we are looking for. My daughter wants to go to college but this school rather put the kids down, concentrate on preggies and no gooders. I wish we could visit and discuss the schools and
the area. Thank you for your time and the information!!!
