if the price of oil stays at around 100 for the rest of the year I think biodiesel might not do that well...
there are few people who really believe in saving the ecology/environment enough to actually put their money where their mouth is if they are watching their money...

if biodiesel sells for more than regular diesel which is already more than regular gas then it is a policy decision to buy it--not a pocketbook one...

you have to ask how big is the plant, who/what kind of money are involved in creating it (do they have resources to keep the plant working if the market is slow)

and I guess it depends on how large the plant is
surely you have read something in your local paper about how many people it is going to need....

What's the name of the production company? When will the plant open?

I suspect there will be some construction jobs while the place is being erected. After I suspect there will be fewer jobs since the industrial revolutions has become highly technical, therein largely automated. Probly some engineers to keep the production numbers in a good balance and some maintenance personnel to keep the facility shiny. Probly a lot of big trucks coming and going. Coming with loads of kudzoo and leaving with loads of biodiesel.

If you know somebody there might be a job there for you.

BTW, your city-data posting turns up in the google search for 'littlefield, texas biodiesel'.
