Default Info on Texas Civil Service Exams/ Jobs

I've been googling trying to find information on the Texas Civil Service Exam. Am currently in New York and previously took the exam for psychologists, which opened up many job opportunities working for the state in that field.

Wondering if Texas has similar process and where I would find information on taking the psychologist Civil Service Exam.

Civil Service: Civil Service Jobs, civil service test, civil service job

I don't think the state has a civil service exam
there are ones for certain local jobs like firefighters and police

https://wit.twc.state.tx.us/WORKINTE...=1220631902109

this is TX state job site for asst psychologist openings and there is no mention of a civil service exam
don't spend money taking/studying for something you don't need
