Texas Tech. I grew up 6 blocks away from it; the architecture is amazing. Therefore, my favorite college sports teams are the Red Raiders. And whoever's playing OU.

I didn't realize how well-liked Texas Tech was. I'm glad to see that it has some respect even if it may just be on this forum. The way I've heard some people talk, it is thought of as being on the level of Texas State or UNT. Maybe they're just saying that because they're UT fans still bitter from last football season.

I'm just revelling in it while I can. I'm afraid we won't do as well this year.

LOL I don't mean to detract too much from the point of this thread, but I will NEVER forget that game. (and by the way, I LIKE Texas Tech). I was spilling beer and popcorn all over myself going nuts over that last come-from-behind touchdown by the Longhorns. Thinking...gawdamighty we ARE going to win! Texas Fight, Texas Fight...and all the chill bumps
But reality settled in when it occured to me that Tech had plenty of time to come back. And they did. I watched helplessly as the Red Raiders ate my beloved Longhorns up with short passes and wellll, just won. And no doubt about it...y'all deserved that win!
