What are your favorite Texas universities?
My favorite is the University of Texas at Austin because of it's location next to downtown Austin and the incredible amount of students that go there.
I also like Rice University because it's so beautiful. It's also in an ideal location.

Texas A&M and Rice. I went to A&M and it was an awesome school to go to, many lifelong friends were made there. I also like Rice too because it is ivy league like only here in Houston.

I love the University of North Texas. My wife and I graduated from there after we married. She transferred from Baylor, and I transferred from Hardin-Simmons. Going to UNT was a great experience!

Texas Women's University in Denton Texas. It has a beautiful campus, chapel and some great dorms. When I attended, we had small classes and some great professors. I was able to participate in some research programs as an undergraduate.

You uT folks must love concrete. It has a certain appeal I suppose.
My favorite schools, well Texas Tech because I grew up around Lubbock and got my degree from there. Beautiful campus, friendly people and a great sense of community at Tech. Guns Up! Wreck 'Em!
After that, I always liked TCU's campus. Plus Fort Worth is a great town. And I'll throw in TSU in San Marcos mainly because of the river.

UT is my favorite. I don't care too much for the architecture, but I spent most of my time there inside the computer lab or the biology buildings. Wonderful scientific community and great city.
I also spent a few years at UNT. I liked the 'small/college town' feel of Denton.
I haven't visited Rice yet, but I would love to do so. Many of my friends went there for their undergraduate or graduate degrees.
