I go to OSU, and there are a lot of student's from Texas that attend the school. It's just crazy though as to how many Texas cars there are on Oklahoma roads.

Lol, boy that would be shocking if that occurred.

That's crazy because Tulsa is starting to feel like a big city and rush hour traffic is getting pretty bad.

Many Okies move to the DFW area for work and live here. Then they go back home for visits with their TX license plates. Simple as that. I know many Okies here. We call Oklahoma "Texas-lite".

What blueskies said. Plus, OK is only route out of North Texas for about a third of the country. You just about won't see any other license plates on 75...

Thanks for the replies guys. I was just really curious as to why I saw so many cars with Texas license plates in Oklahoma. Some of them are making the change by getting an Oklahoma license plate for the back of the vehicle and forgetting to remove the front Texas plates and inspection stickers on the windshield. But hey, that is the beauty of living in America. If you are qualified in whatever field of work you desire, have the move, and ready for a change, you can relocate where you please.

Yep, that's why Texas agreed to settle the border dispute with Oklahoma, and why Texas allowed the southern bank of the Red River to be the border between Texas and Oklahoma. So if we are going to annex OK, then there is no point in arguing about a little thing like a border...

Does the College ( OSU ) give in state tuition for students going to school there from Texas? New Mexico State in Las Cruces does for El Pasoans.

You know what, I am not quite sure. I think you might have to pay out of state tuition if you are coming from Texas but check out this link: OSU Institute of Technology : Academics : New Fall 2008 Estimated Cost of Attendance. My teacher says that recruiters go as far out as Dallas, Texas recruiting students.
