I have noticed a substantial amount of cars with Texas license plates in Oklahoma (especially Tulsa). Are they relocating to Oklahoma, attending school, visiting, doing business? I am just curious because I plan to relocating to Dallas, TX in two years as an automotive technician and the fact I see more Texas cars (the most common out of state vehicles) than ever, it makes me wonder. This does not change my mind about relocating to Dallas in two years because I still am going to do it. I am just curious as to why are there a plethora of Texas cars in Oklahoma.

Houston equals oiltown so does Tulsa. I imagine if houston offices are still closed they got transfered to Tulsa.

Even before IKE, even before this year, there are so many Texas cars in Oklahoma. Sometimes I feel like I am in a small town in Texas with a lot of Oklahoma drivers, its really weird. I absolutely have nothing against it at all. Texas license plates look really nice, IMO, and it is nice to see them here. I just really hope they know what they are doing be relocating to Oklahoma.

Tulsa did used to be called the oil capital of the world at some point.

I don't know why. Maybe the surplus of money here in Texas compared to the rest of the nation has people in Texas just prowling around Tulsa/OkC looking for a good time..

Yep, you got it. Since The University of Oklahoma, has mostly Texans on their team, we thought we would just go ahead an annex Oklahoma. Then OU'S name would be changed to what it really is - The University of Texas at Oklahoma or The University of Texas at Norman.

Most of the offices in Houston weren't closed for very long at all, so it's probably not that. |
