That's a good recipe right there.

Now THAT'S funny!!!!

I vote for Pecan (preferably homemade) w/ a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

(or apple with a slice of cheddar cheese).

Although a frito pie (in the little sack of course) is pretty darn good.

Buttermilk...and I am amazed at how many others said this one too!

It started as my mother's speciality and she would bring it to all family gatherings. Then I started making it and bringing it to all sorts of events.
When I brought it to a family party where we hadn't seen most of them in quite some time, they were thrilled and the two I brought were gone in an instant! haha

So, yeah, buttermilk all the way!

And I thought there weren't that many people out there that liked Buttermilk Pie...

I used to get such funny looks from people, until they tasted it!!!

Peanut butter pie from Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Springs.

Banana cream pie from Marie Callender's.

That's my list, because I prefer cake.

Would that be the pie where you boil/simmer Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk right in the can?

It's so rich and decadent that it is served in thin slivers with real whipped cream...mmmmmm.

It's been quite a while since I have watched her make one, but I think she uses Eagle Brand condensed milk. She does put a meringue on top though. Mmmmmmm...I'm hungry! LoL
