Minni, I married an Italian/Irish women.. We have always wanted to visit ITALY.. Her last name was ALESANDRINI, is that a very common name over there? She wants to have a small vineyard, we grow grapes now in out backyard. I think its a romantic dream of hers, maybe someday.. if were lucky. I always wanted to learn some of the recipes from over there.. the food is some of my favorite. Cooking is a hobby of mine.

What do you want to do in TEXAS, or that you like about it? I envy where you are... and could not dream of leaving such a wonderful country as ITALY.

Muhnay, it's great that your wife has Italian origin..
yes. Alessandrini is a common name, here in Italy.WOW..you have a great dream... What's your favourite Italian region? Do you have any idea?

Can we change our location?
I'm going to Texas and you come to Italy

Oh..yeah...Italian food is the best for me. It's a positive Italian aspect.
What's your favorite food?

"What do you want to do in TEXAS, or that you like about it? "
I would like to live and work in USA. I love your culture, your people, your big spaces, your traditions, your flag
I'm very well when I'm there.
About Texas, yeah, I love your country state!
Cowboys, country atmosphere, your hat , your ranch, music, food...and you have a lot of beautiful cities.
Italy yes, is very nice but...for me, it's very small. Do you understand my sensation?

When I have some minutes, if you want, I post a recipe of "Tiramisù". It's very good. I'm very greedy and for me...desserts are the best!

ciao!

I make a spin off of 2 dishes..( Lasagna & Manicotti ) I call it LAZZACOTTI. Its quick and easy and very good.

You'll need:

1 16oz tub if cottage cheese
3 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
a pinch of parsley flakes
1-2 cups of parma cheese

Mix in a bowl and set aside.

1 box of Lasagna noodles

Cook by the direction on the box.

1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce ( we use Ragu Super Chunky Mushroom )
shredded mozzarella cheese ( or make your own sauce )

once the noodles are cooked rinse with cold water and start to lay your noodles out in strips. Put a spoon full of the mixture you made at the start of this, and place it in the center of one noodle. Fold from you over, then fold the mixture and cover over again.. should look like small square filled with white cheese mixture. repeat that till the cooking dish ( cookie sheet or 9x11 baking pan ) is filled with little square lazzacotties. Put a spoon full or two of the spaghetti sauce on top of each one, then cover with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake till cheese is melted, and the lazzacotties are warmed though.

takes about 15-30 mins to make.

I know not very traditional.. but that is one reason I want to come over and see how its done. =)

I also like FLAN.. yummy! I also love this thing my wife makes Panna Cotta with a Carmel Sauce.. Oh yummy!

As for your other questions.. no I am not sure yet what areas.. I love water so some where along your coast line. Maybe Palermo?

Guess I will need to learn Italian.. by the way your English is very good.

Is it great El Paso?
When I was in Texas, I had not seen El Paso because it's very far from my other destination.

Are you live in a desert city?
