Hi Laura, good to hear from you. Texas is great in the fall, you and your husband just need to hop a plane and come on over, you'll have a great time, I promise!

I haven't been down south since Ike, so some of the others will have to fill you in there. I know when there is such masssive damage it takes a while, but from what I hear, they are on the way.

Glad you got to go to Japan, but you're right, of course, Texas is better!

Maybe next summer you'll decide you just have to have a Sonic burger!

Hey minniemouse,

I think we're all ready for the election to be over. There is just too much trash talk going on. Do you have such a thing in Italy at election time? I hope Americans are not the only ones who are a bit crazy and just plain mean when it comes to politics.

lonestar is right, Autumn and even Winter in Texas are marvelous.

How's it going minniemouse,
I am not from Texas but I have a huge dream of moving there in a few years. I vacation to Texas more than ever, it really feels like I have a second home there.

Texas dealt with hurricane IKE which was quite a tragedy and we all send our condolences to those who lost everything, as well as their loved ones. We are also glad to hear that others are recovering fine from the storm.

That is so cool that you are from Italy and have visited Japan. I love Japan because it is the birthplace of Honda, and their Honda scene is just incredible, in terms of racing.

As far as this years election, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we are more ready than ever.

Very nice to hear from you and I hope you get another chance to visit Texas.

I am planning to move to Texas no later than August of 2010 right after I graduate from college. I cannot, for the life of me, live in Oklahoma forever. It is just not happening. My dream is to work as a master certified Honda automotive technician in Dallas or for BMW if Honda does not work out. I have loved Dallas, Texas since 2003 and have made it a habit to visit since (The vibe, the atmosphere, the space, the glamor, just everything about Dallas I love. It is truly a deep infatuation).

You can make your move to Texas if it something you really want to do with you life. Just have a plan orchestrated, work hard to achieve that plan, and before you know it, you will be living your dream. I am so focused right now, nothing can or will stop me.
