I am sorry to see that you had a horrible time in Corpus Christi. However, my family consists of me, my husband and my wonderful 7 year old son, and we love it here. We do not speak Spanish. While it is a language I would like to learn, we don't need to to have a great living here.

We go to the beach, the museums, the parks and do several other things. It did take me a couple of years to find a school district that fit us! I think those decisions are unique to families in terms of what their needs and wants are. Below are several links to school districts:

I think it is time for getmeoutofhere to be banned. Quite a few personal insults in his posts. It shouldn't bother him since he does not like Texas and shouldn't miss posting in here.

He is posting in a Texas forum and he hates it here. Go spend some time in another state forum, and find out more about where you want to go when you finally leave.

My two cents: Born and raised in Texas and left almost three years ago and lived in two other states, can't wait to get back to Texas, which we are in the process of doing.

Be careful what you ask for in wanting to leave; especially if you are originally from here.
