Default Wichita Falls

My family and I may be moving to the area over the summer. What places are good for family and school? I had a chance to visit and it seemed as though the housing situation wasn't so good in town. Are any of the small towns around worth looking at or are the schools bad?

www.wfar.com Wichita Falls Association of Realtors. Will let you search for houses, try the advanced search. www.wadtx.com Wichita County Tax Appraisal. Gives you a break down of the home. Note: Tax appraisal and market value are different. The only town, other than Wichita Falls, I would consider is Burkburnett. The smaller towns are searchable under the same website. The tax site is only good for towns in Wichita County. What areas did you look at?

You mean lots of towns around Wichita Falls, not lots of 'good' towns. All those hick towns, full of a racism that's been there for ages. I lived on the West side in Wellington on the Lake apartments, it's not the best area for the money.

You may want to consider the south side near Southwest Pkwy near Taft. They've got a few new neighborhoods popping up near Rathgeber Road. It's between Southwest Pkwy and Archer City Highway. Wichita Falls does have a balance of small-town living and big-city amenities. There is not much traffic and you can get anywhere in a short time.
