Belle, politics are just like the NFL. NFC rides high for awhile, then it's the AFC's turn. It goes in stages. What goes around, comes around, and you just have to struggle through in the meantime.

I've wondered if they're not trying to squeeze out the middle-class entirely, just have the super rich and the down and out, but realize they've got to keep us around, someone's got to work till they're eighty and pay for all this crap, otherwise it'll start affecting the rich boys pocketbooks and they sure as heck don't want that. Hang in there, we'll somehow make it through.

....and the join dates.

Funny how some just can't stand to let others have their own opinions, isn't it?!

ah i never thought of that as a possible "clue" as to someone being a forum troll. i reckon because at one time, i had no rep points, but then again, that didn't last long, because, being that i am not a "troll", i stayed "active" on here, and posted on a regular basis from the get-go. so your explanation makes sense.

Very true. That demographic went for Bush in 2000-2004.

But I think it has turned back the other way this time.

You're going to have to find a place that's far away from urban Texas because don't expect the suburban counties to keep going to the right. With people moving in from other places in this country and out of this country, most are moving to the bigger cities and it's starting to affect the suburban counties surrounding it. Look around Lubbock and Amarillo. My best bet.

I don't know about counties but Abilene and Lubbock were ranked as two of THE most conservative cities in the whole country! Abilene ranked second and Lubbock ranked fourth.

BJB817 is on a distinguished road
Why dont you just move to Oklahoma that way we dont have to read your ridiculous posts in the TX forum. My two cents !!!!!

I rep'ed that post.

Sorry Bell, but the sky ain't falling. If you're that worried it is, move up to one of those 92% red counties with a population of about 15 with all your guns and ammo for when the commies try coming after you. Sheesh....
