Cool Denver City, TX-worth the drive from Hobbs, NM (or at all??)

Hi-
One of my friends rejected a marriage proposal last year from a Denver City, TX native. I've never been to Denver City but am going to Lubbock (which I've been to) via Hobbs (which I've never been to) for a hamburger from Burger Builders that was recommended to me by a Lovington native (which I've never been to).

Sorry if this is less than clear...it's a long, windy story I know.

Thanks,
fallguy

Denver City??? Fallguy, you can't be serious. You'd be better off in Denver, Colorado. Forgive me, but there's nothing in Denver City, Texas that I'm aware of. As soon as you get your Burger Builders fix, why don't you come back to Lubbock and help design some new downtown high-rises with Westerner92 and myself??

Cool Skipping Denver City...

Hi case44-
Thanks for the heads up.

I was just wondering about completing a "triad" of towns with Colorado-based names b/c I've been to Denver, Colorado & Colorado City, TX but not Denver City, TX (or Colorado City, Arizona for that matter, tho I've been to Grand Canyon & Flagstaff).

I'll tell you how Hobbs & Lubbock were when I get home in early December.

Thanks again,

fallguy
