Default New Braunfels OR San Marcos???

Im visiting both cities this coming weekend so will get a good feel and see what both cities are alike. Im a 33 yr. single hispanic male, Im a computer drafter...been doing this for 9 yrs and enjoy it. My question is, Which of this two places would you recommend for someone like me?? If I must or am force to commute to San Antonio to work then it but much rather work in-town! Both have close same population and similar percen of hispanics and whites..not a big deal on that part really. Please give me the pros or cons from once city to the other, advice is welcome too. Im looking in renting for 6 months or so then purchase a home, I make decent money but not rake it in so not looking to buy a dream house (around $40-$50k), Im almost outta debt and have saved money for this relocating, was not easy but Im doing it! Thought I would share that to give some closure. Thanks in advance and God bless you.

There really is no difference.. San Marcos is more College based, and New Braunfels is more Burb of San Antonio feeling.. both are quite nice and either would be a good choice.

The two above made good, short responses. I would say New Braunfels. Definitely.

Good Luck!
