SWF Moving to Wichita?? (Wichita Falls, Graham: homes, university, high income)

I'm a SWF in her late 20s who has an opportunity to work in Wichita for the university. Before I accept, I would like to know the dating scene in the area, esp. if there is a surplus of men to date. Also are they marriage-minded and traditional?? Any rumors or first-hand experiences would help.

oh yeah....i can tell ya all about that. i have lived and worked in the area in my 20's and 30's (am 42 now) and as a single (at times-between marriages)...and there are lots of eligible men there, and some of the best looking men in America, especially, if you are like me, someone who likes cowboy/rancher/cattlemen type. now, you may not find many high income yuppie type men. but there are a good amount of executives, academic professionals, college educated ones too..just not an ABUNDANCE. for the most part, i found that the men there were very traditional and marriage minded (i found no problem getting married ha ha..and divorced..several times). overall, the men aint swingin' singles just looking for a fling. many/most are from traditional conservative homes/backgrounds where mom and dad have been married for years. you will find alot of losers at the bars-Ropers, Graham Central Station etc..just like anywhere, but you can find a good man, homegrown, at ranch rodeos, sporting events, out fishing and hunting, at rifle ranges, skeet ranges etc. If you want to find a rich one, well heck, i dont know, maybe Wichita Falls Country Club which is very nice, or at any of the golf courses around the area! email me if you want any more details. good luck and welcome to TEXAS!
