Default Bosque County Texas, need more information

Need more information about: Walnut Springs, Clifton, Morgan and Meridian. These towns are so small it's hard to find good feedback. Bosque county is absolutely beautiful, just traveled around the area and very impressed. Does anyone know more about the schools in Bosque County? We like the country and the rivers, but need to make sure the schools are good in these towns. Any advice, suggestions. Thanks

Here's an easy to use map that might be helpful:

Texas School Performance Maps

It looks like Meridian has good rankings & that Crawford & another one (Gholson?) are off the charts good.

Good luck.

Another site is greatschools.net Use city data's site to find out more about the cities in Bosque County and also Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitors sites is not allowed

I am very fond of Bosque County. I don't think you can go wrong there and it still has lots of unspoiled land left. You can also just do a google search on the towns and find out lots of information.

Yes it is. Valley Mills is still in Bosque County and it's not too many miles from Crawford.

Just a caution, there are plenty of rattlesnakes in that area.

Default Bosque County

Clifton has the better schools. Cranfills Gap really needs students, they are close to state minimum. They would treat you like gold if you moved there.

BTW- I live on Rattlesnake Mountain in Bosque County.

The Meridian High School Principal for this year is being investigated. Seems as though the pervert sent hundreds of sexually explicit text messages to a 17 year old girl student who also babysat his kids. He described in detail his genitals and sexual performance. It looks as though he was not thoroughly checked out. He's age 42, but his photo looks like he's 60+. This is very sad for Meridian, a nice little town and school district in Bosque County. The creep-o's last place of employment was in Goliad, Texas.
