LOL! Let me clarify. It's my favorite "funny" Christmas song. O Holy Night will always be my FAVORITE Christmas carol.

Case, I'm guessing that your favorite wasn't listed, so please tell us what song is your favorite?

carolmcb is on a distinguished road
My favorite carol used to be Silent Night. Now, Silent Night is number 2 and O Holy Night is number 1.

Willie K's version of O Holy Night just blows me away.

If some of y'all don't mind, please DM me some tunes you might like to see included on the next poll(s). Which will feature some more "modern" types (that is, not old classic carrols).

Let's don't get TOO goofy now (Got run over by a reindeer...*grins* couldn't resist that, TGH! LOL), but just some that maintain their popularity over the years.

Things like: The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting...), I'll Be Home For Christmas, White Christmas, Christmas in Dixie, Jingle Bell Rock, etc...

Robert Earll's Christmas song has been around for over 5 years - the makes it a classic in my book.

Out of the list, "The First Noel."

Off of the list, "What Child is This".....I get goosebumps just hearing the lyrics in my head to either song, but especially the second.

I had to vote *other* although I really haven't heard too many Christmas songs that I do not like...but my all time favorites are Do You Hear What
I Hear and Mary, Did You Know....I think there are only two Christmas
songs that I do not like...and that is The Twelve Days of Christmas (too
long and repetitive) and that country Christmas song...If Momma Meets
Jesus tonight...what's up with that stupid song...a little dirty kid goes
into a store to buy his dying Mother some damn houseshoes and everyone
is too stupid to just buy the shoes for him because he didn't have enough
money...what sort of turd would stand there looking ignorant at a little
kid in that situation and only give him the change he needed to complete
his purchase....I totally dislike the songs that just play on peoples
hurt or losses...ugh...but I absolutely LOVE Christmas...

Merry Christmas Everyone...

Good post and points, Terri. I knew I would forget a classic, and in this case it was 12 Days of Christmas....and probably many others.

Anyway, I agree with you completely on some of the contrived tear jerkers...like Momma Meets Jesus. C'mon....

Just MHO, but Alabama can do better than that! This is a group who put out one of the most popular albums in history (Alabama Christmas), with such favorites as Christmas In Dixie, and Tennessee Christmas...
