I chose O Holy Night from this list.

I love What Child is This? as well. You might also add God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen to the next list.

My current favorite is Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming, but I don't think that's the type of song you'll hear sung as often by neighborhood carolers.

For a more haunting kind of song, I love Coventry Carol and So Blest a Sight.
