You need to do some reading to broaden your knowledge a bit. Mind if I suggest one ?
New York, Chicago, Los Angeles

Chicago just has more history, but that dosen't automatically place it light years ahead of Houston as you people make it seem. You people need to get ahead of times and quit thinking Chicago is still America's second largest city, it has been replaced by LA for over 10 years now.

You need to do some research. You're basing this off of nothing. Go look at the most known world cities (they have had plenty of polls), and guess what city is on there? Chicago. No one said it was light years ahead of Houston, but it is definitely more known world-wide than Houston is.
And having the President, the first African-American being elected President, doesn't mean s*** to you? Wow. If you watched BBC's coverage of the election, all they talked about was Chicago. They only said city name as well and not state. Then that speech by Obama later that night. Seriously.

How? You don't think even more people know about Chicago with Obama as President? Really? Chicago also has a better chance of getting the 2016 Olympics with him in office.

I really hope Chicago does not get the olympics in 2016. Rio would make a much better host city.

I am sorry, but as someone who cares about my health and enjoys exercising outdoors, I would rather off myself than be stuck in a winter hell like Chicago. Chicago is overrated, sorry. I guess if you just like to sit around and get morbidly obese on pizza and hot dogs; what a town!!! *vomit*

How ignorant.
Someone could say the exact same thing about Houston. Houston is (literally) a summer hell.
