Exclamation Does Athens have a public transport?

I'm starting TVCC in Aug, and I know if I move to Terrell, I can use Kaufman Area Rapid Transport (KART) to get back and forth from school. And I was wondering if Athens has anything simular...

Thanks for any help.

It's hard to find public transportation in Texas. It's kind of taboo in this state for some reason.

HUH? Dallas has DART and it has come along way. The rail station parking lots and the park & ride lots are FULL every weekday.

Yes, Dallas has done well with DART. Texas as a whole has a VERY long way to go, though.

Yes, Dallas has DART, but, unbeknownst to many people, Dallas is not the whole of Texas....there are other towns that have real people in them who also go to work and school and help make the world go 'round. And most of those towns don't have public transportation.

Athens, Greece, perhaps. Athens, Texas? No chance.
