Default Looking for freshwater fishing guide that is good with inexperienced kids

I am searching for a fishing guide who is great with kids. My 4 and 7 year olds don't have much experience fishing, so I'll need someone who is patient and fun to be around. We live in Austin, but we can make a trip just about anywhere in Texas.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept has a kidfish program. That is probably what you are looking for. Part of the program includes specially stocked ponds and small lakes that are set up for kids (some are urban), they also have kidfish events where they teach (they usually loan all equipment for the event) kids about fish, fishing, and conservation. I would suggest checking with your locsl office to see what is available in your area. Also check this link: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/learning...earnfish.phtml and here for schedules: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/newsmedi...?calpage=a0210
