Default Lubbock Property Taxes

Can you give me an idea of what the property taxes are like in Lubbock County? What is the percentage rate or how do they determine this?

Thanks

I can't help you all that much since taxes aren't really my expertise. I can tell you that the percentage rate varies depending on the town and school district. I believe that the portions of Lubbock that are within the Cooper and Frenship school districts have the highest taxes. I live in South Lubbock within LISD boudaries, and the property taxes come out to about 2.6%.
