Kennard is a tiny community with not much there. I have not been through there in about 2 years . The climate in east Texas is very mild there. It does get cold in the winter but you won't probably see snow. The summers are hot and can stay hot till September.

As far as crime goes, I have no knowledge of it. I would assume it isn't very high because of it being a tiny community. Most people I knew from Kennard had roots tied there from over 100 years ago. This would be the case of my family which is maybe 5 miles away in Nogalus Prairie where my dads family hails from.
