Even the old Dallas Rave veterans like Kelly Reverb & Jeremy Word (Kid Icarus) have now switched to that Top 40's remixed format to accommodate the change in musical tastes.

Night clubs in Dallas used to be fueled by the club drug Ecstacy back when it was legal (early to mid 80's). Its one of the first places in the US where Ecstasy all got started. Google Starck Club & you'll get thousands of results. It was owned by famed French designer Philippe Starck & was Dallas' own version of Studio 54 in NYC.

Chances are if you ever tried Ecstasy back in the 80's it came from Dallas, Tx.
No electronic music scene in the U.S. is like it was 10, 15, 20 years ago (very unfortunately) BUT.....it appears as though the popularity of electronic music is coming back in full force and I am more than happy to welcome it back. It's been refreshing to me to meet the younger crowds now ages 16-25, hipster types, and how they are very welcoming of the electronic dance sound. Used to be hip hop and nothing else. Hopefully this time around rather than just being a participant, I will be contributing to the music scene.
