Default Trenton or Leonard

My family and I are looking to relocate to Texas. And Trenton and Leonard are 2 of the towns we are looking into. If anyone has any info on them that would be great. Town square, main street, schools, crime.
thanks

Jennie.......I'm sorry there's nobody on the board that seems to know anything about Trenton or Leonard. I gave you my two cents worth on your other thread, and I'll be glad to share anything else if there is something specific you have in mind. Feel free to DM me any time.

Default Trenton

We live outside of Trenton on acreage so we cannot comment much on the city living. The one thing to keep in mind about Trenton is the city council has something against allowing any sort of progress. There is no DQ, Sonic, Dollar General, WalMart anything. That is not necessarily a bad thing but something to be aware of.

Grocery Store: Magers Food Store
Gas Station: Kwik Chek

The thing we like most about Fannin county is minimal government intervention. This county has no building permits and we only needed a septic permit to get our property set up. As with many rural areas the people are nice and you will get the positive and negative of smaller communities...everyone knows everyone. The tax base is very low compared to other areas. We have friends in Whiteright who could not believe when they found out about the building permit situation and they are only minutes away in Grayson county.

It is a short drive to Bonham, Sherman, McKinney for major shopping and medical needs.

Best wishes on your search.
