Question Moving to Center, Tx, Some advice?

Hi,
My dad has been living in Center, TX for the past 2 years now and last week he asked me to come and live with him. I was there for a week and it looks really beautiful. I am a country girl (born and raised) by heart so I would'nt mind the "smallness" of it all. I have been looking for opportunitys to get out of NJ and the whole "ratrace" about a year after I got here. Nothing against Jersey, it just isn't for me.
My question is mainly Job and Education Opportunities? I am a Purchasing Agent for the Federal Government here in NJ and I have about 5 years experience within my field. I also am the Safety Rep and Hazardous materials Rep (no certifications). I am also in the NJ Air National Guard and am coming up on my re-enlistment. So I do have the Education Benefits that I can take advantage of. Enlistment wise, I should be able to re-enlist either in the Texas ANG or maybe the LA ANG since Barksdale is only about 2-3 hours from Center.
My education level is Undergrad. I am, after this semester, two courses away from Graduating with my Associates in Logistics Management. What colleges are in the area that may be good for furthering my education? And at that, would it be better to stay here and complete the Associates or finish it up down there? I am sorta partial either way, not sure which would be a better course of action. Also, What companies or fields should I be looking out for?
Any information would be helpful.!!! Thanks!!!

Stephen F Austin State University is located in Nacogdoches, TX, University of Texas at Tyler in Tyler, should offer courses that would pertain to your degree. Both are highly rated 4 year universities. As far as jobs....not such good news there. I think you will be surprised at the pay scale in the East Texas area. Good luck and welcome to Texas!

Umm ok, Well thanks to Destin04, I'll be sure to check out the college's page online and see what I can find out about it.

Moderator cut: orphaned comment But I will most likely do what I always do: go into this with a open mind, and heart. I'm not going to condem or Stereotype people until I have met them. (It gets done enough to me so I see no point in passing this bad behavior on). Thanks for the pointers and I will do some more research upon what you have put down here, I think it might show up some interesting results.
