Well, if TWO threads are A-OK, why do you have a problem with one diametrically opposed? You can't only have it one way, that would be hypocritical.

I was taught the moral that two wrongs don't make a right, or in this case three...

Didn't a very large number of self-righteous, 'moral conservatives' used to be the "free love" people in the past?

I suppose in 20 years, history will repeat itself. I can only hope that they won't be so self-righteous when their time comes around.

I agree. And in my experience, of the people I know who do this, it has precious little to do with politics (a particular party), or religion (a particular faith, or any at all). It has more to do with their personal approach to life.

In fact, if anything, politics (and sometimes religion, as opposed to faith) seems to get in the way of the above.

Liberals DO have immoral tenancies. They:

Favor CRIMINALS over victims.
Favor stealing from those who work, and giving money to those who don't.
Favor ending an innocent life (abortion), but preserving the lives of murders (capital punishment).
Favor breaking the laws of our nation (pro ILLEGAL immigration)
Favor junk science over common sense.
Favor legalizing street drugs, but throws a hissy-fit if someone protects their home with a firearm (when a thief/killer breaks and enters)

Yeah. Thats all clearly immoral. Those were but a few examples of liberal immorality.

this thread is just doomed to anti-civility and stereotypical posting
trying to raise anyone's consciousness about being a liberal in TX is doomed to failure
if you know you are one, you keep it to yourself most of the time unless you trust your company to share the same outlook...
kind of like being gay in the '50s or the Army until Obama became Commander in Chief apparently...
