It's not the Valley residents that make it so bad as much as it's the Mexican Nationals and the Winter Texans.

OMG, I do NOT miss driving in the RGV! I've been out of there for 2 years and it STILL amazes me that no longer am I honked or sworn at if I don't put the pedal to the metal the minute a traffic light changes to green. Or cut off by someone entering a road on which I'm already traveling. And it's NICE not having crappy cars breaking down at intersections and causing traffic jams.

Oh, and did I mention that my insurance premium dropped about $150 for six months when I moved? Valley drivers STINK and the majority aren't insured, either. It's a bad situation.

Hey, you can't blame them, teatime. Once their cars break down, they are no longer drivers. I bet you spent many days pulling your hair out over things in general when you lived down there. I know I sure did.

Then you have never driven in Mississippi, they make the valley feel like a nice place to drive.

Isn't that the truth! Heh, come to think of it, my hair IS a lot thicker now!

Honestly, all of the horn-blowing and cusses sailing out of car windows when folks didn't jump the second a light changed drove me nuts. I mean, really, whatever in the Valley could possibly be so excellent that being delayed by a few seconds makes people cuss and honk loudly?!
