We have four seasons. Sometimes they are all in the same week.

I'm a native Texan and spent 16 years split between New Orleans, NYC, Marina Del Rey, and Playa Del Rey.
My wife & I plan to eventually move back to California. We are wine loving, foodie, beach people at heart. Ill tolerate moon beam's politics for 70 degree weather year round, great restaurants, easy access to quality ingredients, a big wine culture, and a plethora of outdoor activities. I miss being able to wheel my kayak a block and be out in the ocean.
Cali's negatives are Texas' positives: traffic, cost of living, earthquakes, fires, mud slides, etc.
The people are (usually) great in both places.

Surely you recognized that as a rhetorical question. The initial post was clearly a vehicle for lavishing some love on Texas. No one really wants to hear about anyone wanting to leave this great state.

You must live in some weird part of Texas.

I am a native Texan and I want to move very badly, I hate it here, I hate the heat and humidity and it's too flat.

I want to leave every summer and return to California! I have been here 18 years and still can't handle the heat and humidity.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, but I have no interest in any sport other than hockey, and I am assuming it has to do with that.
