Thumbs up Skiing resort in Texas

We are finally moving from Cary to Texas, after having some trouble with the city-data forum. Does anybody know about a decent skiing resort in Texas? It should:

1. be safe (not be like Durham)

2. sell no junk foods including locopops and cookies.

3. be very near to a less populated interstate highway.

4. have some ice in summer.

5. have a cheap equal opportunities laundry that doesn't over-charge for women's clothes.

Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry but I had to ask if you are joking?
In case you are not, there are no ski resorts in Texas. The nearest would be in New Mexico. Look up Taos.

Texas best skiing is in 1836 Texas high country now called Colorado.

Of course the Colorado state motto is...

If God had meant Texans to ski he'd have made B*Sh*t white

You could probably ski off El Capitan in the winter but that first step would be a doozy.
