Default wanting to my family to texas

Hello,
My husband and I are wanting to move our family from Michigan to Texas. We are thinking about staying around the Dallas area. He is a professional truck driver and Iam in school for Criminal Justice. We have two kids who are 14 and 11 so great schools are extrememly imortant. We now live in a semi - middleclass city about 30 minutes south of Detroit.

You might want to consider Huntsville or somewhere there abouts. Sam Houston State University has a premier Criminal Justice program. The commute from Conroe might not be too bad if you want to get closer to a more populated area.

Poltracker, that would be a good idea. And Houston has the port which might have greater opportunities for trucking.

Very good post. Some great points, too, about SHSU. I-45's not too bad at all once you leave Conroe.
