Well that's it. Chuck Norris wants Texas to be independent. The federal government is out of options now. Game over.

I may run for president of Texas

So, who else would make a candidate for President of Texas?

Goodhair?
Kinky?
Kay Bailey?
Ron Paul?

Chuck Norris is a sore loser; his guy didn't win (John McCain) , now he wants to become unpatriotic.

I don't take keeping Texas independent as unpatriotic. The The Overall Freedom Rankings, based on calculated Fiscal, Regulatory, Economic, and Personal Freedom Rankings for each state, then combined into a single Overall Freedom Ranking. (Italics paraphrased from link...)

Texas' ranking is 5th on the list. 1st would work for me.

Wanting any state to secede from the Union is unpatriotic. You can't call yourself an American, if you want your state to secede from America.

While I'm not priming my power and sharpening my knives in preparation, I wouldn't move from a seceded Texas.

I suppose to many people that makes me unpatriotic. I'm okay with that.

Not wanting Texas to secede from the Union is unpatriotic. You can't call yourself a Texan if you want Texas to be under the heel of Washington D.C.

Chuck Norris doesn't run for president. Presidents run from Chuck Norris.
