I'm fairly new to the B/CS area, and wondered if anybody knew of any cool outdoor places to take photos of people at in the area. (I'm from the intermountain west and was used to being surrounded by public lands.) Any suggestions?

The park behind the George Bush Presidential Library is really pretty. So is the administration building on the Texas A&M campus, for that matter the campus its self is georgous I recommend walking around it for a while. Down town Bryan has some nice spots for photos as well. Oh and Mecina Hoff (sp?) vinyards in Byan is very pretty this time of year.

I agree with the gardens behind the Bush Presidential Library. Every time I'm out there, there are people doing wedding portraits, etc. There are lots of pretty spots on campus, especially on the main part of campus like the Admin. Bldg. Also the Century Tree, is beautiful. If you are not familiar with landmarks on campus, I would suggest you check out the university website for landmarks and traditions. Here's a link Campus Attractions - Texas A&M University - College Station, TX

Also, if you are looking for more rural, outdoorsy areas, just drive up Hwy 6 toward Waco. I always see people taking pictures along there.
