Default What do Texans Think of the NBA?

It is almost time for the playoffs. How do you feel about the Spurs\ Mavs & Rockets? Who will do the best against the Lakers? Do you think the Spurs will go on to the finals against Cleveland?

The Spurs will always go to the Finals. (Okay, I hope it's not wishful thinking) It is an odd year, so between that and the beards, I think they'll be there.

I agree that if there is one NBA team in Texas that could get to the finals it will be the Spurs. But Boston looks like they are too crippled to overtake Cleveland & the Cavaliers are one team on a roll with King James in the lead!

I gotta say, as a Spurs fan, the Lakers have me quaking a bit this year. But as The Denver Post observed a couple of years ago......."The Spurs do not defeat you so much as they grind you into tiny shards of psychological wreckage."

Exactly.

If the Spurs can get get a team to play their game, which they often can, they will grind you down and beat you. To Spurs fans like me, it's a thing of beauty to watch (except the free throw shooting).

The Spurs are the only Texas team that would give the Lakers a real scare. And possibly win the series. Mavs can be entertaining, wouldn't mind them representing Texas, except they would certainly choke; Rockets, meh... wish they would do something down there besides being the NBA version of the Astros or Texans...

I honestly believe that Cuban will never see a championship but the Spurs have always been the Texas weapon on LA. I can't wait for the playoffs and am closely watching the east w/ Orlando looking very strong also.

I was just about to mention that....

I'm goin' Spurs. I know it's probably just wishful thinking, but something tells me that the Lakers will choke. Rockets will make it to th second round, Mavs will get bounced out of first round.

I'm a bit disappointed with how the Lakers are performing on the road [4-2 w/ last game tonight in Milwaukee] - they appear tired. The Cavs are on an incredible run while Garnett goes back on the injured list. Do you think Boston will be eliminated early in the play offs?

What do the Texans think of the National Beretta Association? We love it.
