Well, nobody from my neighborhood will be protesting. Nobody around here makes enough money to think their tax burden is particularly high. I guess the tea party will be taking place at the country club, or social clubs and most of us can't afford the bus fare, or to take a day off without pay. .

I said this in the Houston forum and I'll say it here...

Tell me where these Tea Parties are, and I'll bring the Kool-Aid for everyone... Lemonade Tea flavor!

Also- someone please tally the demographic information regarding the attendees. I'd like to run some stats for all the different parties. I'm sure it will be very dynamic and unpredictable.

You could hold up a Come and Take it flag to let people know you're from Texas.

There's a bunch of Jefferson quotes on central banking too. If you know how banking and money actually work (all the money in the world has been borrowed into existance), you see the true genius of this particular founding father.

Samuel Adams has a bunch of good revolutionary quotes. He's my favorite founding father due to his rabble rousing. Pretty much a terrorist for liberty (if such a thing can exist). Some of the shenanigans he pulled with the Sons of Liberty brings a big ole coon ass smile across my face. Thomas Paine and Patrick Henry are also good places to look.

I particularly like this quote as well:

The tendency of taxation is to create a class of persons who do not labor, to take from those who do labor the produce of that labor, and to give it to those who do not labor.
William Cobbett

I had some nice beef enchiladas tonight. We celebrated Rick Perry as community idiot and President Obama who was fed a 3 pound turd enchilada.

This man hasn't had 100 days to prove his effectiveness and every nut job is after him. Where were you 8 years ago?
