The U.S. is perhaps the "shortest" empire in the history of the world. Goodness, look at the Roman Empire that lasted for a good bit longer than us.

I've been down this road before with Carter, I know what to expect and am prepared for it. Carter was a total amateur compared to Obama.

Lot's to be afraid of and guns/ammo/tea parties are the very least of it.

So people fear change cause whatever it was the previous administration was doing wasn't working. Either we continue the same path of isolation or try something different. The majority spoke and that is what we wanted to happen.

It all depend on how you look at things. I would say the U.S. is in a state of flux...and most of the world.
