It is... people prefer to pay more to live on the coasts? Perhaps when there were jobs... and real estate equity made them feel rich enough to afford it even with paper wealth. I say lets keep tx cost of living low so we wont get ruined by bi coastal lovers. See what happened to Arizona after Ca home equity ran up real estate prices only to let them plunge when the fraudulent high prices turned around. See they dont even know there is a gulf coast.. Im not sure what passes for geography education if this is prevalent.
