Default Ready Or Not .. Here I Come (again)

Finally wrapped up the job in Seattle, and now it's time to return to Texas.
I'm feeling like the tallest hog in the trough right about now.

Being native born in Montana, and spending nearly all of my life there, I moved to Texas in January with my native born Texan wife.

I didn't think that I'd like Texas at first, what with all of the hotness and humidity, but after doing this job up here in Washington State, I'll be just delighted to hop in the truck and get back to Texas.

I travel a lot with regard to my work at times, and I think the only two states in the Union that I would ever care to be at all would be Texas or Montana.

My wife is excited to be getting back too. One day away from Texas is one day too long for her I think

Welcome back, bigskydude! I would love to visit Montana myself someday, never been there. I know the geography is vastly different but the two states do have ranching and the cattle industry in common. (am I right?)

Montana is gorgeous, but the winters are too harsh. My favorite states are Texas and New Mexico.

Welcome back to the hot country, bigskydude!

Bigskydude,
I'm glad you are making your way back to Texas after your duties in Seattle. I do not think I could handle Montana and its winters, lol. In about 14 month, I will be joining you in Texas after my education. I never lived in Texas but I have visited and have been wanting to live there for almost 10 years now. Have a safe trip back to Texas and enjoy it.

Another thing in common would be the oil industry, conservative somewhat lawless and freebooting folks, and a knack for living life the way it was intended to be lived.

Am back now, and it's hotter than hells hinges ... Not to worry though ... as central air seems to have a way of taking the edge off.
