Hello all, first pcs for hubby and I, from Ft. Campbell to Ft. Hood. Just had some questions about the area now as These posts are from back in 2007 lol, we are wanting to live off post, we have been looking into Copperas Cove, but haven't heard great reviews about it, especially dealing with the realtors there. The houses don't look that great, either to be honest. And the areas some are located in look pretty bad, as well. The last thing we need is to be screwed over during a stressful time such as this. We have a daughter who will be a year old by the time we arrive so her well being and safety are VERY important to us. Otherwise we would take what we could get and suck it up... Any tips/advice/updated info about Hood would be greatly appreciated. We currently don't know what side of the base my husband will be working at, which I know would be helpful in determining whether Harker Heights or Copperas Cove is a better option for us, still any information about anything is helpful. Thanks all!
