Default 2009 Waco real estate appraisals

I live near Waco and my 2009 proposed property appraisal went up 10%. I've submitted a protest and I was wondering if anyone else that frequents this forum has had any experience with the protest process.

There are several postings about this in the Austin forum that might have helpful information. Quite a number of people there are protesting and getting reductions.
