So, judging from the Dallas forum, West Plano must be an absolute hell-hole.

The fact that no neighborhood from Compton, Flint (MI) nor Gary (IN) made this list leads me to believe this wasn't a thorough research. What about the 5th Ward? Can't forget about Laredo...kinda messed up we're arguing this though lol

... or too ghetto for Church's Chicken!

I saw a chicken place (a no-name place) on the street while riding the blue line train in south Dallas with a line of people out the door. That means the demand is there for fried chicken but the crime is too high for a chain restaurant, which is really saying something!

Sounds like Williams Chicken, which is a local chain targeted at the black community. But it's still the best damn chicken in the state.

isn't that the situation with most of these studies?? That is why I take them with a grain of salt...They are interesting to read, but don't mean much. I don't care if it is the 10 most dangerous or the 10 best places to raise a family. They are slanted to fit the needs or views of the writer or to prove a point. Sometimes it is more busy work than anything. That is what I would say about this one...

I don't understand why they'd put the same areas. Anyway, those neighborhoods are definitely not the worse that Texas has to offer imo.
No the first one is in Pleasant Grove the other is in South Dallas.

Interesting. I only see two in Texas on here, both in Dallas. Nothing else in Texas. Why in the Texas forum.

Well, Scyene and TX-352 are the same thing for most of the route (I've never heard anyone really call it 352), but the place where Scyene joins 352 is when Scyene turns into Robert B Cullum just past Fair Park, and that's South Dallas. If you plug that intersection into Google Maps, it's in South Dallas.

Scyene for the msot part is definitely Pleasant Grove.
