Default Camping and Tubing the Guadalupe

Looking to find some advice on the best place to go for camping and toobing this weekend on the Guadalupe river. I'm thinking of floating around the horseshoe in hopes that the flow will be ok (125 cfs currently).

Does anyone have any suggestions on good campsites that are on the river that can outfit us to some good floating? Any other tips, greatly appreciated!

most of the land along the Guadalupe is private -- not park--land and as such is not for camping by people going down the river--most of the land is posted as such

you might find an outfitter who has an agreement allowing HIS floaters to camp overnight

Google a search for Gruene and float trips

You might also try Googling the Kerrville area for float trips and/or camping.
