Hotter than some other states, but not a place to flock to. There was another thread a month or so ago that discussed how every Texas metro area had fewer jobs than it did a year ago. I wouldn't recommend a move to Texas if one is expecting to find "Help Wanted" signs on every storefront.

We don't want people to flock to Texas because that will bring our economy way down. We should only grow when we need to so that when the economy recovers we will do even more exceptional than expected.

I sure hope it will be booming in the next decade, but I don't want it to go overboard.
