Default The best Restaurant in small town East Texas

The cajun restaurant in Nacogdoches near SFA campus is one of the best places that I have eaten in. I believe it is called Delicreaux. This is the king of the down home slap yo momma places.

I challenge any other restaurant in East Texas to match it

Shed Cafe in Edom Texas (south of Van Tx). Can't get much smaller than Edom (pop 332). Went there just once but it was great home cooking.

Hello,
I would like to introduce a famous restaurant in Budapest, Hungary. Café Miró Grande, the most restaurant and event venue of Budapest. It's located in the heart of Budapest, at 9. Liszt Ferenc Square.
The food is excellent and the service is attentive, the hosts were friendly in a great romantic atmosphere.
This is traditional Hungarian cuisine. Wine selection is mostly Hungarian wines.
I tell all my friends to go and eat there if they are going to Budapest.

Best Regards,

Cafe Miro - Grande

I guess if I take Hwy 31 east enough I'd wind up in Budapest, Hungary.

Hmmm, all that pine pollen must be disorienting.

Will have to look where Edom is because we are seriously lacking good food in my area. The Gallatin Store is about the best we have. But it's a lot of fried.

When in Quinlan, check out Willie's Westaurant, (Yep, with a "W"). Daily specials, and great fried catfish platters!

I've got to put a vote in for "LaWafflelata" (sp) in Mineola. I know it's spelled wrong....but you can google it and come close. It reminds me of the type of places in the metorplex...good soups, entrees and wraps!
