The Fairway Oaks subdivision in South Abilene is built around a golf course/country club. Beautiful area with lots of McMansions. Lytle Shores is an older nice part of town built around Lytle Lake. South of town, toward Buffalo Gap, is hillier. There is a street going from Highwy 89 to Highway 83/84 called Belle Plain Road--between Abilene and Buffalo Gap. Some of the homes on the north side of the street are built on the edge of the "mountain" and have fantastic city views.

I'm confused about "posting" here? How did the post today find the "last" post on here that was dated way back on April 3, 2008? How did you pull up so many posts that go back 2 years? New to this. Thanks

Check your settings. Go to My Settings> Settings and Options>Edit Options>Thread Display Options.

Here you can set your options so you can see threads only from the last day through seeing all threads from the beginning of time . Set your preferences, then go to the main forum page by clicking on "City Data Forum" on the menu bar at the top left of the screen and browse the forums. You'll see all threads with posts within your desired preference.

There's other ways to move about the forums, such as setting a list of forums on your subscribed list, but this will get you started.

Heh, I didn't even know there was a Frito Lay plant here so I can't be of any help.

Welcome to the Friendly Frontier in advance, though! You'll like the community.
